CHAPTER 7: THE FIRST EDITION

Carrie and David  thought that swimming was a great idea. Aaron   wanted to go swimming too, though at first Beth wanted to read a scary book on a beach chair under a tree. She changed her mind, though, when she saw all the others so excited about the idea of going into the waves.

David, Carrie, Beth and Aaron ran to put on their bathing suits, and  ask for  permission to go swimming. They  also  told Anna and Jeff  about their morning’s adventures.
“There is nothing we can do now to solve this mystery, so Mrs. Lomber suggested swimming. Is it okay?” David spoke for the group.
