CHAPTER 10:  100 Paces

Carrie woke up before the sunrise, and Beth opened her eyes soon after.  They couldn’t wait to get started on the next stage of solving the mystery.

“Wake up, guys,” they called to David and Aaron in the next room.  “We have to  get  started.”

David  put the  thin blanket over his head and  mumbled something about letting him sleep. But Carrie  and Beth were too insistent.
