FOLKTALES FROM EUROPE
People who live in European Countries love to tell their own folktales.
There are folktales from all of the different countries in Europe.
Many European Folktales are about kings and queens, princes and
princesses. There are also working people , especially farm people.
In many European folktales, the poor farmer's son does something
smart or kind and ends up marrying the princess.
DO YOU THINK THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED
IN REAL LIFE? The answer to that question, is NO.
The people wished that it could happen. In the folk stories, it could happen, and did. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Below are some examples f folktales from Europe: The Irish people in the European country called Ireland,
