POOGIES GAME #2

ages 3 to 5

Skills: color recognition, sequence order


Directions

Use five different colored poogies at a time... ( two of each)

1. Put one of each color in the top row of five spaces:

 

2. Have the child choose the same color poogie and place in the box under the one with the same color.

 

3. Ask the child to hide his/her eyes. Switch one of the colors on the second row. Ask the child to show what is different, then correct it. The child should say the name of the color.

Use a variety of colors.

4. Switch all of the colors in the second row. Ask the
child to make the corrections so that each poogies would be in correct color order, corresponding to the first row.

 

 

5.Switch all of the colors in the second row except one.
Ask the child which is in the right place and why. Ask
the child to correct the others.
