ZEBRAS

"Don't look, and make it obvious, but the item is passing by! "

In Swahili (one of the East African languages), the name for the Zebra is Punda Milia.

This picture was taken in the Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania. The other animal in the picture is the Gnu.

There are many different types of zebra, with their own stripe patterns. Even though these zebra look alike there are slight differences in the stripe patterns.

This next picture was taken on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater is like a big bowl. It was originally a volcano but is not active. Many animals live in the crater.

"If you intend to step over me, I'd be obliged if you
would please say please and thank you!"

This is my favorite zebra picture. It is actually an optical illusion. An optical illusion means something you see is fooling you. If you do
not look closely at this picture you might think that one zebra is standing with is back legs on one side of the sitting zebra and his
front legs on the other side.

BUT ACTUALLY,THE ZEBRA IS STANDING BETWEEN TWO SITTING ZEBRA. The stripes of the zebra sitting in front seems to connect to another zebra sitting in the back.

Here is another one!

"You're cutting me off for no good reason!"

How many zebras are on the right? It looks like two but are there three? Which head belongs to which body?

"You have an objection?
Sue us! "

Can you find the ear of another zebra?

"I'm getting tired of being so unobvious out here. Perhaps I should move to Pluto and set a whole new fashion trend."

May I pass, please

Can you see all three heads!
