Mr. Zipper McZann had a kitten named Flan,
The friendliest cat one could meet.
Barislaw was his hound, always sniffing around,
For food, especially meat.

What happened one night, when McZann dimmed ............................. the light,
He shouted, "Oh Kitty, come here.
"It is such fun to be,with a friend at my knee,"
But the cat's ears were clogged, couldn't hear.

 

So he called out once more, for his dog , Barislaw
Screaming loudly, seven times, and then eight.
But the hound was asleep, snoring loudly and deep.
He was stuffed from the dinner he ate.
