CHAPTER 2:
SILLYDILLY LAND LOOKS STRANGE

The first thing that the children saw in SillyDilly
Land were houses. The houses had many colors
The houses were upside down and each roof
touched the ground. There were ladders leading up
to upside down doors.

The WillyNilly children wondered if people have
magnets in their shoes to hold them to the floors
as they walked upside down where the ceilings
should be.

"No, of course not," Princess Peek-A-Boo told them.
In our houses, the floors are on the top and the
ceilings are on the bottom. So people walk on the ceilings right-side-up."

"You mean that the ceilings are where the floors usually are and the floors are where the ceilings usually are ? " Princess Kay asked with a surprised look.

"Yes, that's true. In SillyDilly Land, ceilings are under your feet and floors are over your heads and that is how it should be. People put their furniture on the ceiling, so it is quite all right. The ceiling lights are on the floor, which are on top. "

"I see," said Prince Jay. " It is a house turned up-side-down."
" U mmm,Princess Peek-A-Boo, where are you?

" Actually, it is a house turned right-side-up, at least to us,"said Princess Peek-A-Boo, as she jumped out from behind a big sign shouting her name.
