LYRICS

The Pilgrim men went hunting,
A very difficult chore.
They searched for game like turkey and deer,
And took what they needed and nothing more.

Often they went fishing,
A job they couldn't ignore.
They fished in the many woodland streams,
They took what they needed and nothing more.

It was hard to find fish and meat,
Such a very dangerous feat.
A necessary job indeed,
Finding nutritious foods to eat...

The men went hunting and fishing,
In groups of three or four.
That's what they had to do day by day,
They took what they needed, nothing more.
