I visited a farm in early May,
I went with my class, stayed all day.
There were animals and crops to see,
The farm's a great place for children to be.
We saw some cows who love to chew
Horses, of course, noisy chickens too.
Pigs and goats, roosters at rest,
Cacklin' hens I liked them best.
We walked through fields of golden wheat.
The wheat makes flour for bread we eat.
We saw how fruits and vegetables grow,
And laughed at the strawman scaring a crow.
On this trip to the farm in early May,
We had some fun , this sunny day.
There were many things for us to see,
The farm's a great place for children to be.
