LYRICS

Oh Jack Sprat could eat no fat,
His wife could eat no lean.
So guess who is the thinner one,
With healthier cuisine.

It's Jack, of course, so slim and trim,
His wife is overweight.
In fact, this lady couldn't remember
All the food she ate.

Now try to judge these eating habits,
That's not hard at all.
The Mrs. has a plate quite huge,
While Jack's is rather small.

Oh Jack Sprat I'm proud of you.
I'd like to share your point of view.
And if my bad habits come to an end,
The scale could become my loving friend.

Oh Jack Sprat is right on course,
His wife still eats like a starving horse.
Perhaps she'll copy some of his ways,
Then she'll also enjoy some thinner days.
