DORA DRINKS PICKLE POTION

Dora D. Drinkle, a gal of the times,
Spends time on a mountainside, making up rhymes.
Now, maybe you'd say that this lady is lazy;
Perhaps you might think what she's doing is crazy.

NOT TRUE, NOT AT ALL... sitting up on a rock.
She's minding some sheep, it's a twenty count flock.
And while she is doing that, Dora says rhymes--
This Dora D. Drinkle, a gal of the times.

*
Then Dora goes home from her day on the job,
And eats chocolate ice cream with corn on the cob.
When Dora's done gobbling the food that she eats,
She'll drink pickle potion, the greatest of treats.

Is it strange, do you think, all the things that she'll do?
Please note, she's allowed just like me and like you,
To choose her own lifestyle, odd it may be.
She's decent--no harm comes to you, her or me.

Roger D. Rummage, a guy of the times,
Walks daily through sewers, while singing some rhymes.
You'd think this guy Roger ,is , maybe ,quite lazy;
Perhaps you'd decide what he's doing is crazy.

NOT TRUE! He's a plumber, who tries to prevent,
All filth backing up, that's the work of this gent.
And as he is doing this,Roger sings rhymes.
This Roger D. Rummage, a guy of the times.

*
He'll then return home from his day on the job,
And promptly shines sparkling, on doors, EVERY KNOB.
Is it strange, do you think, all the things that he'll do?
Please note, he's allowed just like me and like you.
To choose his own lifestyle, odd it may be.
He's decent--no harm comes to you, him or me.

Bart and Belinda are twins of the times,
They sit in the school yard, composing some rhymes.
I guess you might think that these children are lazy;
Perhaps you 'd assume, what they're doing is crazy.

But Bart and Belinda, each noon have a break,
At snack time, or recess, those times they will take,
To write for their classmates some stories with rhymes,
Both Bart and Belinda, two twins of the times.

*
And when they go home from a day at their school,
They clean up the floors with a gardening tool.
Is it strange, do you think, all the things that they'll do?
Please note, they're allowed just like me and like you,
To choose their own lifestyle, odd it may be.
They're decent--not harmful to you, them or me.

Hmmm....

If Dora drinks pickle juice, Roger wipes knobs,
The twins spend their time on some floor-cleaning jobs...

Then YOU are invited to do what you do...
AND NO ONE HAS CAUSE TO SAY "BOO, BOO "
TO YOU!

See,-------

--whether or not folks do regula' stuff,
It's really Okay, if they're decent enough.
