My son Andy was born in the late l970's. So he is not a child anymore.
When he was almost 8 years old he told me that he wanted to write a long poem. The long poem that he wanted to write is an "epic poem."
Andy loved super heroes who face dangers. In his story-poem, The Magic Kingdom his hero named Joe faces those kinds of dangers.
Andy wrote his poem on paper with a pencil. In retyping his manuscript, I corrected spelling. A few words were changed, added or deleted for the sake of rhythm.
But all of the content ideas and basic words and rhymes were his. For the most part, the story posted
here is a retyping of the basic hand-written manuscript.

The Magic Kingdom is about a boy named Joe who falls down into the land of some scary people. In order to get back home he would have to perform 5 tasks-- to find five magic power masks.
Andy worked hard on the poem, but got tired of it before he finished writing it.
When Andy was 26 years old I had a great
surprise for him. I FINISHED HIS STORY POEM!.
