Once they were back in the car, Mireleh said in a soft voice. "Tateh, usually after the candles are litk, I open my first present. That is tradition in our family."
"And so you shall open your first gift my sweet daughter." King Lester went , once again, to the trunk of the car. He soon returned witha big black bag. He had such a big smile on his face when he told Mireleh how much would love her first present. "It is something you always wanted!"
King Lester's smile disappeared when he looked inside the bag. Instead of presents, he found garbage.
"Ooops," he said. " I brought the wrong bag. But actually, that's no such a problem. Khappen Fliggen is on our way to Groisseh Metsieh. We'll stop there and get the gifts, the Chanukeah and candles and some Chanukah food. I will call Uncle Loitel and tell him that we will be a just a little bit late.
"Just a little late!" Princess Mireleh mumbled to herself.
