We think of Esther, brave new queen,
The grandest mentsch we've heard or seen,
And how she came to save the Jews,
With such a Queen, they couldn't lose.
That gazlen Haman, evil man,
Oy gotenieu, his awful plan,
To kill the Jews, a shandeh--shame-
This mean paskudnik was to blame.
We think how others played their role,
To set things right , a noble goal.
And every year we celebrate,
A mitzveh which was truly great.
We dress in costume, nosh our fill
With Hamentaschen, what a thrill!
