SYNOPSIS
Pat is a child ( Patricia or Patrick--depending upon the illustrations) who is devoted to his/her pet cat. The cat, named Kit, loves Pat. They spend a good deal of time together. They belong to each other --which is implied in the title.
Pat must go to school. Kit is sad and lonely. However, Kit finds
out that Pat is not away forever. Pat comes home and
the two play together once more.
